I'm new to investing in property and so have been doing a
lot of reading about how to do the research - about 10 books so far and your
book is either the best or equal best. You seem to be the only author who
seems to have an academic type grasp of what is a fairly demanding area of
research. Thanks for a great book.
Btw, I have read hundreds of property books & magazine (if
not thousands). Have to say that yours is one of the most value add books in
the market. In particular your emphasis on timing the market & using more
scientific methods of identifying the Buying Zone. So WELL DONE!

What a great book! I love reading it as if I am reading a
novel. Thank you for the valuable advice. I am planning to buy properties in
Brisbane.

This was a really good read. Thanks Paul.

I let one of my friends (who's working in building and
construction, property development in Perth) read your book, and he said
it's one of the best property books he's ever read! He went and bought a
copy for
himself too!
I will definitely continue recommending your book to my friends ;-)

I read your book after borrowing it from a friend, and it
was so useful I want my own copy!

Hi Paul,
I like your systematic approach to the subject, i.e. keeping the emotions of
property investing at bay by working through it in logical manner.
I love the book.
I heard about your book through API Magazine and I couldn't
put it down, read it in less than a week. So thanks for the great book it
will be my reference guide over future years.

Read your book in two days, it was very informative and put
in a very common sense way. And love all the real life examples, I have been
interested in Real Estate for years and read a lot on the subject but your
book hit the mark.

Hey Paul,
Many thanks for taking the time to put pen to paper and writing (in my view)
one of the most comprehensive yet easy to understand property investment
books I have been fortunate enough to read.

I'm almost finished I buy houses and I just wanted to say
this is one of the most practical and balanced books I have read about
property in my 11 years of residential property investment. In my
view...should be compulsory reading for anyone before they purchase
property.

Hi Paul,
I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful book – our
property investment textbook! We have just embarked on our journey of wealth
creation with the purchase of our first investment property in Sydney last
Friday. Thank you for providing us with processes to take the emotion out of
the decision and treating this as the business it is.
Congratulations again - we are always recommending your book to friends.

Paul,
I finished reading your book a week ago. I couldn't put it
down. A most refreshingly different outlook to many others I'd read and it
was great to read one about purchasing cash flow negative property inner
city (like I do) rather than cash flow positive property in woop-woop. It
gave me a lot of confidence in my own theories about the RE market and I
highly recommend it.

Paul,
Thanks so much for your tremendous book. It is far and away
the most comprehensive, no nonsense book on property that I have read. Being
a stock market investor, I particularly enjoyed the almost 'technical'
analysis approach.

Refreshingly, the most informative book on real estate
investing I've had the pleasure to read.

Hi Paul,
Just would like to say how practical I thought the book was,
and how it deals with all the real issues, rather than just passing over
them. I have 3 houses already and I think I stumbled on good fortune with
them, now I will know when good timing is, and how to buy and what to buy
next, not sure I have read such information in my other investing books I
have. Looking forward to your next books.

Hi Paul,
I loved your book - for someone who is very interested in
learning about property and property investing and wanting to take that step
your book is the perfect read; easy to understand and it goes into great
depth on a lot of topics other book don't even mention. I have bought many
other top selling real estate books and it's no wonder you got the top pick
in money magazine.

Let me start by saying that I am so happy that I bought a
copy of your book during a recent visit to Sydney. My husband and I have
read so many books and spoken to so many people, but you are the first one
who makes it clear that it is important to time the market even if you are
adopting a long term negative gearing capital gains approach to property
investing.

Paul,
Thanks for sharing your experiences and the SYSTEM T process
you use to make a success out purchasing properties. I found the information
on the real estate cycle and technical analysis a great help. The added
research tips were a great help with the purchase of our sixth investment
property. Again thanks for your generosity.

I
thought your book was great. It was clear, easy to read and answered a
lot of questions I had. I’m looking forward to you writing a book about
investing in the share market next!!

Dear Paul,
I just wanted to congratulate you on a fantastic property
investment book and I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I have
read a number of investment property books and consider yours to be one of
the easiest, yet informative books I have read. It is very comprehensive,
giving guidance to many facets of property investment, including when is the
best time to buy, the buying process, renovations to name a few. I have one
investment property, and your book with the SYSTEM T process has inspired me
to invest in more (during the Buying Zone!), and armed with the knowledge I
have gained from your book I feel that I can be a successful property
investor. If I am to recommend one property investing book, it will be I
Buy Houses - The Property Investor’s Handbook.
Many thanks,

Great book. I've been waiting for a book like this for
years. Your book is very thorough, easy to
read and full of essential information necessary for any successful
investor.

Hello Paul
I want to congratulate you on an excellent book. I'm new to
investing in property and this book has made me understand and aware a lot
more of the processes and the system of purchasing any property. It's easy
to understand and it's to the point. I have to say that this is one of the
best book I have read on property investment.
As a someone who is considering buying her first property, I noticed
there didn't seem to be any books filled with practical advice on how to
buy property. That was until I came across I Buy Houses. This
book is jam-packed with practical tips on when to buy, what to buy, how
to buy and where to buy. There are also negotiation tips and sections
on property management, renovation and selling. It's a must-read for anyone
entering the property market.

Have read the book and got a lot out of it and look forward to trying
the system in the future. The best thing I've found is the formula/tools
to measure and compare suburbs and properties, giving something real to
analyse.
Have also found the websites links a great resource.

I've finished reading the book and it just came to light
that this is the book that I've been looking for; the approach adopted
by you towards real estate investing really fits with Warren
Buffett's style of investing. You mentioned that you should try to buy
as many properties as you can afford during the bargain period (Buying
Zone), and when properties become too expensive all you have to do is
move your money to other assets.
I particularly love your SYSTEM T framework which is basically
comparable to Buffett's four tenets.
I'll will visit your site frequently for more updates.

I am reading the book (not yet finished) and I am very impressed with
the amount of detail and analysis.
I may be biased as I have similar views on the way you research
property.
My background is an economics graduate and lawyer and I appreciate the
in depth work that has gone into the book (your non preaching way of
relating the positive and negatives of property are excellent). It is
easily one of the best books about property that I have ever read.
Keep up the good work!!
Regards
