Potential Conflicts of Interest

I will try to document any potential conflicts of interest here so you can better understand how my views might be biased by the nature of my investments, business interests or associations.

Investments

• I am long in real estate, that is, I own real estate, so my views could be biased towards buying real estate – heck, the title of my book and website is about buying houses.

• However, I also own other investments such as shares, so I do not preach real estate all the time. As you will see from my book, there is a right time to buy real estate and there is a wrong time, and the difference can mean having a profitable portfolio of properties working for you or struggling to hold and service an overpriced property.
